Ginger Bread Smoothie Bowl
Just in time for the Holidays❄️ Now we just experienced our very first snow day here in Vancouver, BC and I was not ready to give up my morning smoothie bowls. Instead, I adjusted my recipe to make it more festive✨ Here she is… my gingerbread smoothie bowl!

Smoothie bowls can help to improve the fiber content of your morning meal by topping them with whole fruits or veggies. Making the digestive system work a bit harder will also contribute to helping you feel fuller and more satisfied for longer during the day! I love to add protein for extra nutrients and to keep me satieted for my energy filled days.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 - 1cup plant-based milk
adjust milk to consistency
2 bananas frozen
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp nutmeg (all spice)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder *optional
1 tbsp maple syrup *optional
Toppings:
mix nuts chopped
granola
dried cranberries/ craisins
gingerbread cookie
shredded coconut
ground cinnamon
peanut butter melted
DIRECTIONS
Place all the ingredients for a smoothie in a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth.
Arrange toppings and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
